Lamba Foundation: An Update

Lambda Ball
The Lambda Ball will be held on Saturday, November 12th 2005 at the Pittsburgh Hilton Hotel downtown, so remember to save the date! Come enjoy a tropical evening in paradise, while supporting Lambda’s efforts to fund GLBT scholarships and grants. Ticket information is available on-line at www.lambdapgh.org or by phoning (412)521-5444. This Black-Tie benefit is the Foundation’s largest fundraiser and enables us to continue “Supporting What You Believe In.”

Scholarships
Responding to the increasing need of our young and future leaders, the Lambda Foundation announced that the Scholarship Award for the 2005/2006 college school year will be increased to $5,000. This scholarship is given in recognition of leadership demonstrated by an undergraduate or graduate student in the Greater Pittsburgh or surrounding area. The Lambda Foundation seeks to recognize students who have made an impact on campus. Students who make outstanding contributions toward the integration of GLBT people, culture, and organizations are our future – and deserve your support. To make a donation or to apply for the scholarship, visit www.lambdapgh.org
